Starting a Blog!
Well here it is my very own blog, not quite sure what I should be doing with it yet, but I'm sure everything will fall into place. Setting up this blog was a little difficult, to tell you the truth I just might have two blogs out there. My blog title is pretty generic I used the course name, for some reason I was drawing a blank, but I thought since it's pretty much a journal for this class that would be fine. The difference of a digital workspace opposed to an analogue would be distraction. What I mean by distractions is, it is so easy to click here click there check your email, facebook, etc. There are times when a paper and pen out ways the digital world, but this is only my personal opinion. When using paper creativity can flow easily, there is no backspacing, deleting, spell check, it's just there and sometimes for the best. There are times that I think you can write your best paper with just a pen and a pad of paper. But hey don't take this the wrong way I still love the digital world, it's a great way to communicate with the world or is it. I have to admit yes I'm a facebook member, but there is just too much drama so most of the times I'm offline. Facebook to me is just a place where I can see how everyone is doing, and a place where I can get stuck on those stupid games.

Hi, Cyn:
ReplyDeleteI agree, I use Facebook to play scrabble and it's not working recently and it makes me crabby! The one benefit of an online workspace is that it is available anywhere there is internet access, so it's very portable. I still write a lot down on paper but I'm trying to train myself to use blogs for note taking.
Thanks for your efforts,
Andrea
